The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is conducted for admission to B.E./B.Tech. (Paper 1), B.Arch. (Paper 2A), and B.Planning (Paper 2B) courses.

While the official syllabus for JEE Main 2026 is expected to be based on the latest NCERT curriculum for Classes 11 and 12, the structure and pattern are expected to remain the same as the most recent exam.



JEE Main Exam Pattern (Paper 1: B.E./B.Tech.)

The exam is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) lasting 3 hours.
