NEET UG Syllabus

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2026 is one of the most competitive medical entrance exams in India. A clear understanding of the syllabus is crucial for effective preparation and scoring high. The syllabus is divided into three main subjects – Physics, Chemistry, and Biology – covering concepts from Class 11 and Class 12 NCERT textbooks.

1. Physics

Physics in NEET focuses on problem-solving and application-based questions. Students must grasp concepts thoroughly and practice numerical problems regularly. Topics include mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, electrostatics, and modern physics.

2. Chemistry

Chemistry is divided into Physical, Inorganic, and Organic Chemistry, each equally important. Focus on understanding the physical basis of reactions and reaction mechanisms.

3. Biology

Biology is the most significant section, contributing 50% of the total paper (90 questions). NCERT textbooks form the primary reference for Botany and Zoology.

NEET Syllabus 2026 for Physics

In the NEET Physics syllabus, questions are primarily problem-solving and application-oriented. Students should focus on developing a strong conceptual understanding and consistently practice numerical problems to excel.
