🏛️ About the Staff Selection Commission

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India.

• Core Function: Recruits for all Group 'B' (Non-Gazetted) and Group 'C' (Non-Technical) posts in various Central Ministries and Departments.
• Infrastructure: Headquartered at CGO Complex, New Delhi, operating through 9 Regional and Sub-Regional Offices nationwide to manage millions of applicants.
• The New Portal: In 2024, SSC launched ssc.gov.in. Candidates must complete a One-Time Registration (OTR), eliminating the need to repeatedly fill personal details for different exams.
